It seems no matter how large your kitchen is you never have enough space. throughout the years you have accumulated a lot of stuff and you are struggling to store everything nicely.

Here are 12 kitchen storage ideas you can implement easily in your kitchen.

1. Install a pull-out cabinet behind your fridge

If you have a small pantry, items like cans and sauces can stick out and make your pantry look cluttered. If you have space try installing some pull out drawers in between the unused space around your refrigerator. You can use these to store sauces, spices, cans and cleaning products. Your pantry space will be virtually doubled and will look much nicer.  

2. Maximise the ceiling space

There is actually a lot of unused space in your home. Try to store upwards rather than outwards. If you utilise the space between your ceiling and floors correctly you will find that you save a lot of room.

Drawers get messy because we rummage through them causing them to become unorganised. Try to use drawer dividers so that you know where things are and so that everything has a place. If nothing has a place you will end up just throwing miscellaneous items in drawers.  A bonus is, is that they look great too.

5. Use the space above your fridge 

The space above your fridge can be very useful.  depending on the height of your ceilings you should be able to store a fair amount of stuff.  A good use of space can be to place appliances like mixers and blenders on top of the refrigerator. This will free up a whole lot of cabinet space.
