Trigg Point

Leighton Beach is one of the finest surfing spots you can find near Perth, with dashing waves where you can succumb to riding all day long. The area is also great for swimming with your family and friends, and might as well get a tan with less crowd. Apart from this, the waters aren’t very rocky as well, so you can enjoy having a wipeout without having to worry about bruises from rocks.

Gliding is always fun with this beach and is not so busy unlike other popular beaches near Perth. While the sand is always nice, you will have a good spot away from the rocks, letting you paddle and crash freely when wipeout cannot be prevented. This area is also great for leisure swimming but without the annoying crowd for you to focus on the swells and do your tricks while you’re at it.
