We are so excited for the Lizzie McGuire Reboot
Lizzie McGuire reboot alert. This is not a false alarm.
OMG OMG LIZZIE FREAKING MCGUIRE IS COMING BACK! It is official and not just a rumour. This is just another reason that I’m getting Disney+ as soon as it launches. To make things better the original family is all coming back!

I really hope this re-boot is better than the Full House reboot Fuller House. Because that would really crush all my childhood (adulthood) dreams. There is a history of reboots going bad. I am just concerned with how they are going to transition the show from a childrens’ program to an adults program. I will love it regardless of how it turns out.Â
What we know about the Lizzie Mcguire reboot
The show will follow Lizzie into her 30s! And will start just before her 30th birthday. Poor 30-year-old Lizzie isn’t married and does not have kids. She is however engaged to a strange man that is somehow not Gordo. At this stage, Gordo it is not even confirmed whether or not Gordo will be in the series. It is also unknown as to whether Miranda will make an appearance either.
WTF. I really hope they make a surprise appearance.
So how long do you have to wait?
At this stage, the Lizzie Mcguire reboot is not scheduled to premiere until 2020. We have already waited for 15 years. But another 3 months just seems like too long for me to wait to find out whether Lizzie dumps her fiance for her true love Gordo.
Let’s just hope that it airs at the begging of 2020 and we don’t have to wait much longer.
